Amazon Announces New Smartphone

According to New York Times, Jeff Bezos will be expected to introduce a smartphone on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. It will go head tp head with Apple's iPhone and Samsungs's Galaxy. The phone will include a 3D displace, which includes retina-tracking technology embeded. Cost ranging between $99-$199. This product is said to add 3.5 billion to Amazon's revenues, a 24% leap.
Apple vs. Samsung

When Samsung launcged the Galaxy S, Apple had snagged on and in disbelief thought it was pure piracy. So Jobs call an top 100 meeting for a Patent War on Samsung in 2011. Samsungs first priority is to beat Apple. Samsung is following iPhones rumors for ideas to make their phones better. Even thought everything is about marketing they bot claim it is not about that.
Intel Cloud Chip

Intel Introduces its Xeon processor (Xeon Chip), used inside big computing environments, to handle a customer’s large-scale proprietary algorithms as if the chip were customized for that process. The idea is to enable some of computing’s biggest workloads, like security for a telecommunications company, or Facebook’s widely used homepage, to work faster across thousands of computer servers at once. Applicatons should work twice as fast when taking advantage of this optimized chip. Its revenues of $3.1 billion, a rise of 11 percent from a year earlier, were less than the PC Group’s $7.9 billion, but sales of chips for PCs were off by 1 percent. Total revenue was $12.8 billion.
Anti-Theft Tech for Mobile Devices

GOOGLE and MICROSOFT have agreed to add a kill switch to their respective mobile operating systems. The move, which follows reports that iPhone thefts are decreasing thanks to Apple's Activation Lock. It also comes despite US wireless carries opposing the idea, likely over fears that they will miss out on the cash they rake in from punters buying replacement devices. the switch to the anti theft will allow users of Android and Windows Phone devices to remotely lock and wipe their handsets if they are stolen, which according to SoS will dramatically reduce smartphone theft. Microsoft has said that it will roll out the feature "before July 2015", but Google has yet to cough with regard to when its kill switch will arrive on Android.

Fitness wristbands offer to loose weight, increase physical activity and keep track of those activities. The GearFit by samsunghas a heart rate sensor. Some believe that the band isn't as accuracte as it should be. The GearFit is part of Samsung’s strategy to tackle the health and fitness market. While everyone is waiting for Apple’s “iWatch” to make its debut, likely completing the fitness loop for iOS. They're abot 80$ to 200$.
AT&T and Direct TV Merge

On Tuesday, the House and Senate will conduct back-to-back hearings to examine the AT&T-DirecTV merger (combining the companies). That, according to the companies, regulators should approve their $48.5 billion merger. Since Comcast and Time Warner have the lowest customer satisfaction rate, AT&T and DirectTV haven't stirred the same passion of those who fear the growing power of cable and broadband behemoths. The companies are nevertheless likely to face some opposition. AT&T and DirecTV said that “economic theory predicts that this transaction will put strong downward pressure on prices."

Hydrogen fuel is zero emission fuel which uses electric chemical cell which or combustion internal engines to power vehicles and electric devices. The first hydrogen fuel efficient car was sold at $69,000. It could run 5 times longer than battery operated cars. Brands -- Toyota FCV introduced the CSE 2014 Las Vegas. Hyundai tucson fel cell is about $499 a month alos on market. Honda FCX Clarity is already out on market.
Timeline of Personal Computers
It took the PC 30 years to have it's current wide-screen, multi-core, HD/3D viewing. Before, in the 1960s and 1970s, you routinely had to know assembly or machine language commands to operate a computer to its fullest potential. Now, all computers from PC's to Smartphones to tablets are touch - enabled and easy to use even for a 2 year old. In August 1980's, the introduction of the IBM PC and moving on to the first PC clones. All leading up to the post - PC in 2010.

Sundar Francisco, Google's VP, claimed that more than 1 million people worldwide were watching keynote's live stream. These efforts are designed to accommodate the emerging Internet of Things, a sensor-laden ecosystem of wearables, home automation gadgets, connected cars, and machine-to-machine (M2M) devices for the enterprise. Android has 62% of shipments compared from last year which was 46% due to producing more technology. Opening day at google I/O at San Franciso where o=more than one million people attended. Creating devices that knows your whereabouts. Car play by Apple, Android auto, google glass, Samsung gearlive, Android wear, Galaxy note3 and more were introduced at google I/O 2014.

In the late 1950's, the ARPA founded in the US, mostly focused on developing information technologies to survive a nuclear attack. In 1963 during the early days of computers and six years before ARPANET, students at MIT developed the first computer game called Space War. In the 1970's and 80's, peopl were mainly online to put information about selling and buying (business purposes). Paul LInder and Mark McCahill released the Gopher, a tool that allowed researchers to retrieve specific data from myriad locations, in 1992. The next year, Mosaic, a web browser was develpoed by Netscape founder Marc Andreesen.
